Reminiscent of the early 1800s timber frame construction, the Pettengill Barn Queen Posted timber frame can be designed with traditional joinery or an era appropriate English tying joint. The Pettengill offers a spacious flexible interior floor plan. With the main opening designed on the eave side of the barn, this structure is perfect for those desiring drive through space for boats or automobiles as a second large door can be added to the back of the barn.

The ample space on either side of the center isle could be used for storage, a workshop or space for animals. Two upper lofts on either side of the drive through aisle provides additional space for hay storage, seasonal storage or other needs with full head room.

This 32′ x 36′ timberframe design also makes the Pettengill an excellent option to be finished for comfortable barn style home living.
