These studios were designed and built for an artist couple who had dreamed for many years of individual art studios on the Maine Island they have summered on for years. We started with our Harraseeket timber frame and  increased the roof pitch, added a bent and an array of windows and skylights to capture the natural light the artist couple desired.

We fabricated matching timber frames in our Freeport, Maine shop, painted everything white and transported and finished these studios on a remote Maine island. Each studio has a 10’ wide wrap-around deck to enjoy the panoramic ocean views.
