When a New York couple selected us to build their dream vacation home we worked closely with them to design a home that offered elements of contemporary sophistication as well as the classically casual look indicative of Maine coastal living. The home offers an innovative interpretation of New England architecture. Sloping eyebrow dormers and an enclosed vestibule with a barrel-vaulted ceiling are two of the details that make it visually intriguing. Timber frame accents add just the right amount of rusticity.
