Pre-Assembly Insures a Successful Timber Frame Raising
By HBJL In Latest Projects, Timber FramingPre-assembling a new timber frame in our climate controlled shop is key to a successful timber frame raising. The mortise and tenon joints are all perfectly fitted, the timber frame is measured again, and the trunnell holes are pre-drilled. The sections are then disassembled and prepared for transportation to the clients’ site for the raising.
Houses & Barns by John Libby’s facility is key to our team being able to take this extra step. Our timber framers spend the extra time our experience has determined is beneficial to exception quality for which is what Houses and Barns by John Libby is known.
We arrive at each frame raising with confidence that everything will go together smoothly and on site safety is greatly improved.
