Standard trim

Standard Trim Style

  • Roof sheathing consists of one (1) layer of ship lapped Eastern White Pine laid vertically over the timber-frame (visible from the inside) covered with roofing felt and 35 year asphalt shingles.
  • Sidewall sheathing consists of two (2) layers of tongue & groove vertical pine boards secured directly to the timber frame with rougher-head exterior.
  • Exterior roof eave and rake trim fabricated from Eastern White Pine secured directly to the wall sheathing.
  • Aluminum flashing above doors and windows.

Traditional Trim Style

  • Roof sheathing consists of one (1) layer of ship lapped Eastern White Pine laid vertically over the timber-frame, (visible from the inside), covered with roofing felt and 35 year asphalt shingles.
  • Sidewall sheathing consists of one (1) layer of tongue & groove vertical pine boards (visible from the inside) with ½” plywood and clapboards as the finished exterior wall surface.
  • Exterior roof eave and rake trim fabricated with Eastern White Pine with a flat rake board angled to build the crown molding effect. Returns are constructed at the roof and wall intersections.
  • Aluminum flashing above doors and windows.

Classic trimClassic Trim Style

  • Roof sheathing consists of one (1) layer of ship lapped Eastern White Pine laid vertically over the timber-frame, (visible from the inside)  covered with ½” plywood, roofing felt, and 35 year asphalt shingles.
  • Sidewall sheathing consists of one (1) layer of tongue & groove vertical pine boards (visible from the inside)with ½” plywood and shingles or clapboards as the finished exterior wall surface.
  • Rake and eave constructed with soffits creating a larger trim profile. Returns built at each corner.
  • Copper flashing above all doors and windows and on return caps.
  • Insulated windows.
