The existing cabins on this historic property and the client’s program to build a structure for vehicle storage and an apartment overhead guided this Carriage House design.
Architectural Designer, Jerry Wasmer, succeeded by incorporating a cross-gabled roof system over the two-vehicle garage space. Designed with four equal valley rafters and four gables intersecting together at the peak keeps the building’s profile low while maximizing open interior space in the apartment with amazing views of the ocean.
With the timber frame now in place, we are quickly enclosing the building and working on interior design elements.
