When Pigs Fly Pizzeria & Bread Store

All of our employees have enjoyed When Pigs Fly bread - especially with an outlet right here in Freeport, Maine. When we met with the owners about building their new Wood Fired Pizzeria and Bread Store in Kittery, Maine it was a terrific combination of artisan bread and artisan construction. We designed and constructed the near 8,000 sq. ft. Kittery retail location on a tight schedule.

The building features a 27 x 27 square foot cupola providing natural light into the restuarant; two large wood fired ovens; an open side patio to enjoy warm summer evenings; and a cooper screened three-season porch for more outdoor eating options.

Pickled Douglass Fir ceiling timbers, a custom concrete bar with embedded gears, the variety of rich colors and the custom made furnishings and decor all provide visual interest while customers enjoy the amazing flavors of the freshest and creative pizzas in the area. We are proud to have been a part of the growth of the popular When Pigs Fly company.
