Saturday, October 1, 2011 -2nd Annual Barns & Quilt Tour: 10 am – 2 pm

Houses and Barns by John Libby will once again sponsor Freeport Historical Society’s Barn & Quilt Tour for 2011.  Join experts for a fascinating tour and discussion of historic Freeport barns and period quilts. Learn about barn evolution, how quilt patterns reflect their times, and lots more! The tour will begin at Cotton Weeds Quilt Shop in Freeport and will conclude with a reception and refreshments in our Shop on Post Road in Freeport.  Come enjoy cider and music from Maine Highland Fiddlers.  Tickets are $25.00 each and may be purchased by calling 207-865-3170 (Reservations required.)  For more information please visit www.freeporthistoricalsociety.org
